Vespa chandelier
product design, London 2018
Binom Architects' design proposes the upcycling the front lights of a Vespa motorbike into a smart suspended light fitting.
The first prototypes have been made for the Green Network London offices designed by Binom Architects in 2018, a project driven by the Architect's interest in giving a visual and physical form to the staff's otherwise highly conceptual (abstract) day-to-day work dealing in energy commodities. Therefore, themes like re-using and recycling, and the generation of human powered energy become the spatial frame for the Vespa chandelier
